Why You Are the Way You Are (And How to Change)


The reason you are ANYTHING is because of the way you act.

For example:
The reason you’re fit is because you act fit.
The reason you’re fat is because you act fat.

You can apply this to any other identity.

The reason you are ______ is because you act that way.

The reason you are successful is because you act successful.
The reason you are unsuccessful is because you act unsuccessful.

And not that ‘fake it til you make it’ acting... I mean your ACTIONS.

In fitness, it’s obvious… to lose weight, just eat less and move more. Yet over 50% of the population is fat.

Because their actions aren’t aligned with being fit.

You can know what to do, and NOT DO IT.

It’s common.

Here’s why:


Your Identity sits at the top of the "Hierarchy of Self"
Your values are next
Followed by beliefs
Next your Actions
And finally your thoughts.

The top things influence those below them.

You act a certain way because of your beliefs, values, and identity.

Change a belief, and your action will change.

Change your identity, and multiple actions change forever.

It’s that simple.
