Here’s something that'll changed the way you talk: Eskimos (The Inuit and Yupik peoples) have over 50 distinct root words for snow. Aqilokoq means softly falling snow. Piegnartoq means snow that’s good for driving a sled. Pukak means crystalline powder snow on the ground.(there's a bunch more) They literally perceive differences in snow that we English speakers walk right past. Their eyes register what ours skip over.
